With the ravages of the Coronavirus in 2020, the Malaysian beauty industry is suffering from an unprecedented crisis and the beauty industry is experiencing the greatest impact on their livelihood and income in years.

President Message
The establishment of the Beauty Entrepreneurs Association Malaysia (BEAM) was during the MCO period. We found that many beauticians in the beauty industry have faced a major blow from this pandemic. It has caused a major repercussion in all aspects regardless of life, emotions, family, and income. Besides, there is no comprehensive integration of beauty organisations at present, and thus everyone acts accordingly. We do not have a representative to gather the voice of the beauty industry across the country to speak and communicate with the government bodies.
As a result, the Beauty Entrepreneurs Association Malaysia was founded; our aim is to gather the issue of the beauty industry in Malaysia and share the difficulties that we faced to the relevant department through this organization. In this way, we firmly believe that we can help every beauty entrepreneur. Subsequently, we hope that we will be able to support all Malaysians who are engaged in the beauty industry to position themselves as beauty entrepreneurs, thus the beauty industry will become one of the important contributions to the country’s economy. Furthermore, the entrepreneurs who pay taxes annually play an important role in boosting our country’s economic recovery. Through this, beauty entrepreneurs can therefore gain respect from the society. This is the future of our beauty industry, a positive and better situation.
Consequently, we firmly believe that as long as we are united, this group will have the absolute advantage for the beauty entrepreneurs to connect directly to the government agencies regardless of any difficulties the beauty industry faced. This also includes the government’s opening of economic assistance to beauty companies in the future, we can quickly and accurately send information to every beauty entrepreneur in such a manner. We, the Beauty Entrepreneurs Association Malaysia, shall promise that it will be “fair, transparent and neutral”, the so-called: “cohesion provokes strength; unity emerges hope.”
